The Grumboire is a progress tracker that Players can get from talking to Rugnolia. It includes the Player's inventory (Stuff!), relationships with other characters (Frenz!), their collection of Ooblets, in-game achievements (Badges), and an almanac which tracks the Ooblets they've encountered and items they've collected.
Pages in Grumboire[]
Stuff![]
On the left page, you will see the Player's Name, Level, and XP. Under that, you can access more by clicking on the icons for Wishy Well, Clothing, Furniture, and Tinstle Tasks.
On the right page, you can see how many Club Tokens you own, Gummies, the items on your toolbelt, and items in your inventory. The inventory can be expanded by purchasing backpacks from Kibbonbon.
Frenz![]
On the left page, you will see headshot pictures of NPCs you have interacted with. When you select their icon, you will see further information about each on the right page, including the Character's name on top, their current location, and the club they have joined. Under that, you can see the friendship stickers you have gained over time.
Once the Hankerbot has been fixed, you'll receive a letter each day letting you know what a character might have a hankering for on that day. Giving them the item they are hankering will reward you with friendship points which help you progress to the next sticker.
Ooblets[]
On the left page under the Ooblets tab, you'll find your Follow Babies and your Home Babies. Follow Babies are the Ooblets you currently have following you. You can send them home at any time by selecting them and then the "send home" option.
Selecting the "manage" option will open a side menu on the right side of the page where you can access extra information and options. These options include: Accessories, Pet, Rename, Send Home, and View Moves. On the right page, you will see the Ooblet you have selected up close, along with their Name, Species, LVL, and XP.
Badges[]
As you play Ooblets (game), several actions will reward you with Badges. Selecting a badge or empty spot will have a small pop-up window with information on your progress so far, how to attain it, and the reward.
Almanac[]
The Almanac tab holds all of the items you have collected. On the left page, tabs divide the items as Ooblets, Crops, Recipes, and Found Items. The right page will display more information about the selected Ooblet or item.
Ooblets[]
Main article: Ooblets
You will be able to see the three types of Ooblets you own: Gleamy, Common, and Uncommon.
If you have never encountered the Ooblet, you will only be able to see a light silhouette of each.
If you have encountered one but have not challenged it to a dance battle, the silhouettes become darker. The silhouettes are filled in with the Ooblet once they have been gathered from their fully grown seed.
A small speech bubble with a heart shows what items you need to begin a dance battle with this Ooblet, but only after you have encountered one.
On the right top, you will see the location they are found, and their name at the bottom.
Ooblet Almanac Stickers[]
If you have the seed of an Ooblet, a seed icon will appear under the Ooblet type. For example, if you have a gleamy seed, the icon will appear under the Ooblet, but above the checkbox that says Gleamy.
If the Ooblet seed has been planted, a plant icon will appear.
If the Ooblet has not been scanned, a beaker icon will appear.
Crops[]
Main article: Crops
All of the crops available in Oob for the Player to plant and harvest will be displayed here.
On the left page, icons of crops which have not yet been encountered by the Player will appear as light silhouettes. Crops which have been planted and harvested by the Player will have their silhouettes filled in.
On the right page, information about the selected crop will be displayed. This includes pictures of both the harvested crop and its plant, its name, a short description, where it can be found, its grow time, and how many of this crop the Player has harvested.
Recipes[]
All of the food and drink items available in Oob for the Player to cook, as well as items the Player can craft, will be displayed here.
On the left page, icons of recipes which the Player does not yet know will appear as light silhouettes. Selecting the silhouette will tell the Player how they can obtain that recipe (i.e. from the Wishy Well, Recipe Pieces, or from the Dance Barn). The silhouette will be filled in once the Player learns the recipe.
On the right page, information about the selected item will be displayed, including a picture of the item, its name, a short description, where it can be made (i.e. on a Hotplate for food, on the Kettle and Cup for drinks, or in the Manatwee Fabricutter for items), the ingredients needed to make it, and how many of this item the Player has crafted.
Found Items[]
Main article: Found Items
All of the forgable items the Player can find around Oob will be displayed here.
On the left page, icons of items which the Player has not found yet will appear as light silhouettes. The silhouette will be filled in once the Player finds the item.
On the right page, information about the selected item will be displayed, including a picture of the item, its name, a short description, where it can be found, and how many of this item the Player has found.
Trivia[]
According to Rugnolia, the grumboire seems to be a sentient being. For example, she cautions the Player not to feed the grumboire pizza on a full moon.[1]
