For the game, see Ooblets (game)

Ooblets are the cute and bizarre creatures that populate the land of Oob. They can be grown on your farm from Ooblet seeds. They take a certain amount of time to grow but soon after, the Ooblet will emerge from its plant.

Initially, the player may have a maximum of 12 Ooblets, up to 8 of which can be allocated as "Follow Babies," who will follow the player around and participate in dance battles. Non-Follow Babies will remain on the farm as "Home Babies". This capacity can be increased by placing and upgrading Oobcoops.

Rarity[ | ]

All Ooblets come in common, uncommon and gleamy variants.

Common[ | ]

The most widespread, "default" coloration of an Ooblet. This type of Ooblet is really common among the regions.

Uncommon[ | ]

Show up only occasionally, sporting alternate colorations from their standard counterparts. Uncommon 0oblets are not that rare.

Gleamy[ | ]
Hope you're having a good time adjusting to town! Just thought I'd mention in case you hadn't heard that there are some super rare ooblets to be found if you look hard enough😏. They're called "gleamies" and they SPARKLE.
~ Letter from Outgrid

The rarest of all, exhibiting more vibrant color schemes, sparkles, and rainbow trails that follow as they walk. Gleamies appear more frequently during Rainbow Rain, and they have a chance to produce Oobsidian when left on the farm.

Dance Battles[ | ]

Upon winning a dance battle, the player is given the option to aquire a seed. If the player chooses to do so, they will comfort the disheartened ooblet, causing it to produce a seed matching its rarity.

Gifts[ | ]
